HVAC Tune Ups

• $50 for maintenance and refrigeration charge
• Two (2) rebates per customer for each service address

• Rebates are available for JEA residential electric customers only.
• Only Heat Pump and Central AC are eligible for the rebate.
• Customers are eligible for one Tune-Up per unit every three calendar years starting June 1, 2021. 

• Have your HVAC contractor perform the HVAC maintenance listed below and provide you with a copy of a paid invoice indicating the service provided, the service date, and total price. 
• Apply online to receive the rebate or download application and email completed application to jearesidentialrebates@franklinenergy.com. 
• Maintenance check list:
  • Thermostat is operating properly
  • Filters are clean or replaced
  • Condensate drain has been inspected and flowing properly
  • Coils are clean/free or debris with no restricted airflow
  • Condensers have been brushed, combed and cleaned, electrical connections are tight, and amps/volts are correct
  • Check for correct pressure in refrigerant lines

Rebate applications must be submitted within 90 days of service and be postmarked or submitted on line no later than October 10, 2026.
