Water and Wastewater Bill(1)

To be considered for an adjustment, submit your request within ninety (90) days of the billing period in question. Adjustments are limited to no more than one in a five-year period. By requesting an adjustment, you are waiving your rights to any subsequent adjustments within any five-year period, regardless of the subsequent amount.

To ensure your request is processed in a timely manner, submit your plumber’s statement and/or your receipt for repairs and supplies to wateradjustment@jea.com.Be sure to include your JEA account number on all documents. Your request will not be processed until all of the repair documentation and your completed JEA form have been received.

If you need an extension on your bill while your request is being processed, apply for an extension online or call one of our representatives at (904) 665-6000.


This form is not a guarantee that a credit will be applied to your utility bill. You will be notified if the request cannot be granted or if additional information is needed.

By checking this box, you are authorizing JEA to process an adjustment on the water and/or sewer portion of your bill. You will be notified if the request cannot be granted or if additional information is needed. If approved, the adjustment will be applied to your account, satisfying JEA’s policy of one adjustment per five-year period. This may result in JEA denying a future adjustment request even if the amount is higher.
